You will take on the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to designing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting Cloud (Private, Azure, AWS, GCP) and UNIX/Linux server infrastructure; Firewall and Networking; documenting the IT infrastructure, policies and procedures; participate in after-hours work and an on-call rotation.

You should possess the following qualifications:

  • Geographical location – not important.
  • Degree - not important.
  • Academic record - not important.
  • Background – not important.
  • Excellent written and oral communication - not important!
  • Experience very important: please provide us with a detailed description of the biggest disaster/problem resolution you are most proud of, what happened, what exactly your role was, what technologies were used/impacted, what were the biggest challenges and what exactly you did to overcome them?
  • Knowledge – very important: designing, deploying and supporting Cloud (Private, Azure, AWS, GCP) and Unix/Linux servers; thorough understanding of security, systems and network protocol; excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities; experience implementing, operating and supporting open source tools for system and security monitoring and management on Cloud (Private, Azure, AWS, GCP) and UNIX/Linux platforms and databases; knowledge of scripting to automate tasks.
  • Experience in finance is not required!
